Why it is important to let your brain learn about pain

How to handle pain and discomfort without drugs or surgery

Why it is important to let your brain learn about pain?

Your brain needs to know Where the pain or discomfort comes from.

If your brain doesn’t know anything, how will it set up it's healing pattern to correctly heal?

We want the brain to get the message so it can:

  • Respond with healing messages and orders in response to the problem.
  • Carry out activation of healing systems
  • Alert higher cognitive centers so your mind can control the outcome of the body’s attempt to heal and facilitate better lifestyle choices.
  • Has attention and energy focused on this healing process instead of energy being sidetracked to a different activity.

The use of medications, painkillers, and other forms of pain relief turns down the messages to the brain like a dimmer switch on a light fixture.

Pain and discomfort in the body can come from many sources:

  • Soft tissues as muscles, tendon, ligaments, and cartridge (which are the connecting material of these elements to your bones).
  • Joints are special types of cartilage that sit between your bones. (There are vertebral joints as well as extremity joints that connect your feet, hands, and limbs to your pelvis and spine).
  • blood supply tissues (arteries and veins) can cause discomfort.
  • Organ cells and tissues (for example; a segment of bowel cells, or liver tissues).
  • The skin is considered an organ as well as the brain

Primarily, discomfort is a message from the cell tissues to the nerves which then carry the message to the brain. The nerves have several functions to them. registering pain is only one function.

You may be in a state of numbness, constant chronic tension creating a lack of energy for other parts of your life, or just accustomed to the pain, but not have healed.

How long will you last like this? And how healthy will you be later in life?
